On 25th October 2015 in the All India Radio's 'Mann ki Baat' programme, prime minister Narendra Modi announced the removal of interviews in the recruitment of non gazetted officers and other service personnel of central government. This decision is taken keeping corruption in mind.
This was most demanded thing from all candidates who prepare for central government jobs. A lot of complaints filed every year regarding biased interviews and demand of money against recommendation during interviews. This is most welcomed and first major step taken by the government to reduce corruption in the government sector. This decision benefits all students who are preparing for any type 'B', 'C' and 'D' grade jobs of central government jobs. While in gazetted posts (Group'A') it will remain continue. The Government has completed all the processes involved in removal of interviews for low rank jobs of central government. The decision will come in action from 1st January 2016.
